Movie Synopsis:

Trailer Resident Evil 5 Retribution
Meskipun baru akan dirilis di bioskop Amerika Serikat pada tanggal 14
September 2012, Milla Jovovich ternyata secara khusus sudah mulai
menyapa fansnya di Indonesia lewat trailer terbaru Resident Evil: Retribution. Seperti diketahui, Jovovic kembali berperan sebagai tokoh utama bernama Alice, di seri kelima film Resident Evil.
"Halo Indonesia. Saya Milla Jovovich, saksikan film Resident Evil: Retribution di bioskop kesayangan anda segera," ucap Mila secara singkat melalui Youtube.
Di
trailer tersebut memperlihatkan karakter Alice yang hidup bahagia
bersama keluarga kecilnya, namun secara mendadak sirna akibat diserang
oleh segerombolan zombie pemakan daging manusia. Di tengah tragedi yang
sedang berlangsung, Alice kemudian menyadari kalau kehidupan sempurnanya
itu hanyalah kiasan semata yang ditanam di otaknya.
Sebelumnya pada akhir bulan Januari 2012, Resident Evil: Retribution sempat merilis teaser posternya yang menggambarkan kehancuran sebuah kota. Gambar poster itu seakan sesuai dengan tagline mereka yang bertuliskan 'Evil Goes Global'.
Gambaran kehancuran tersebut seakan terlihat lebih jelas di trailernya,
dimana perusahaan Umbrella Corporation telah melebarkan daerah
kekuasaannya hingga kota New York, Moskow, dan Tokyo.
Seperti di film Resident Evil sebelumnya, nuansa horor dan action
pada layar lebar ini seakan sudah menjadi menu utama atau bahkan terasa
jauh lebih kental lagi. Hal itu dibuktikan dengan pernyataan Alice yang
memaparkan, semua teman yang dikenalnya dan tindakan di masa lalu telah
dipaksa untuk kembali melawannya. Polemik tersebut tercipta karena
pihak Umbrella Corporation telah menggunakan tubuh Alice untuk
melindungi virus terlarang ciptaan mereka.
Selain Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil: Retribution juga akan dibintangi oleh Michelle Rodriguez, Kevin Durand, Sienna Guillory, dan Oded Fehr.
